P4-Feedback as a group

                     


In the clip above Wayne Sables gave us feedback on our short film we all feel it was helpful and gave us guidance for future projects.







Based on the feedback we got on our little film, we can see what went well and what didn't work well for us. 
One recurring issue we found is that the movie feels a little bit short due to its runtime. This may have been avoided by revising the narrative and storyboards before reshooting. Though I believe we could have taken some better images to build tension and danger through the cinematography, we didn't receive any feedback either the audio or the 
photography. The movie moves a little too quickly, and the killer appears before his time.

                                                                M2-Post Production In this unit i will be explaining how we produced the film and conventions we followed to create the film.                This is Friday the 14th's final  edit with a duration of roughly 3:50.     The end credits scene is influenced by myself and created by Lewis similar to the rest of the editing. I got myself involved with the editing as i had a clear vision of what I wanted to create.  We made the blooper clips play in a separate, smaller window with the actor names appearing on the left. Another visible technique used is the way we used Premiere Pro's text tool to label the visuals and portions. A closer look at how we created the timeline is seen below. P2-Productiom RISK ASSESMENT / SAFETY ON SET We made sure to adhere to the risk assessment requirements. We looked over the full evaluation ensuring that we had covered everything including watching out for trip hazards and other problems. We took extra care to make sure that our belongings were  in our bags and tucked away to make sure nothing fell out of loose pockets. Our first concern was safety therefore we took all the required measures to guarantee a safe and orderly shoot. With the film being filmed in the woods we were quite secluded, so emergency services would’ve struggled to access the part of the woods we were in. However, this is why we scoped out the area a week before filming, so we knew what shot types to have and where it was safe to film. Members of the public was another concern of ours however we are planning around that and to overcome this problem we will use a remote area of woods to film.   We kept lines of communication open and constant within the team throug

Our short film (Friday The 14th) was heavily influenced by the short film Finley and No Through Road we took the influence of the plot from Finley and the location and lost film footage feel from No Through Road. In the process of making this short film there were some conventions within short film making that were important to give us a guide for things such as timings, location and plot and characters. In our 4-minute slasher film called "Friday The 14th" we followed the codes and conventions of short films in a thrilling way. Firstly, we focused on using comedy throughout the film whilst still keeping the genre of horror. We established the setting for the film immediately, introduced the characters, and built tension quickly to make the most of the limited runtime. Visually, we used specific camera angles and creative shots to enhance the suspense and horror elements.
