In this post i will be describing how Todorov's and Steve Neals theory inspired us with producing the short film. Todorov's narrative theory, binary opposition, and Neal's theory of genre (parody, repetition, and difference). We included a range of shot types such as POV, Mid shots,3/4 shots and over the shoulder shots for the scene between Amelia and Lewis. of the murderer and their persona, acting, binary opposition and pros such as: props: phones, knives. costume used include: mask, casual attire. We used natural day to day clothing as it followed the conventions of horror and kept a realistic feel. We knew overexaggerated clothing and props wouldn't be needed except for the killer who had a knife and a mask. Our film's mise en scene and cinematography choices have given it meaning. For our filming we used a location in the woods, which is frequently associated with feeling helpless and alone, to generate a sense of isolation. Because it obscures the distance
